Femslash February 2019 Week 1 - VOCALOID, Love Nikki, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, BanG Dream!, Crime & Regret, LunARiA, Cytus

I'm still sad I never participated in the years it started, so my goal this month is to participate completely!

Drawings will be daily (with weekly updates on the blog), and another thing I'm interested in is Fanfics for the prompts. However, those will probably be written during Late February-March. Either way, FemslashFeb seems very fun, and I want to participate in any way I can!

DAY 1: "Opposites" 

I have a TON of ships that fit this prompt, so I kept going back and forth. 

The ones that I had thought about the MOST, however, were Yui/Mio, Kido/Momo, Madoka/Homura, and Miku/Luka. 

So I went with an Opposites ship that's remained a favorite forever. 

Hatsune Miku x Megurine Luka (Negitoro) from VOCALOID. 

VOCALOID is a franchise that I have MANY ships from. But my No.1 favorite, for years now, has been (and always will be) Negitoro. 

VOCALOID has no canon, but I've always thought of Miku being cheerful, bubbly, and cute. Luka, however, is cold and aloof. But being around Miku reduces her to embarrassed red-faces, stutters, and shy glances! I guess I've always thought of Luka being a tsundere, but less aggressive. 

DAY 2: "Pink" 

Pink immediately made me think of these two, so here's the otp of Love Nikki!

Nikki x Kimi (Nikkimi) from Love Nikki Dress-UP Queen! (aka Miracle Nikki in the original servers).

These two are so canon and in love, and that warms my hEART. I've been waiting for a fashion game with two girls in love, (Rosie/Camilla is super close, but still subtle) and Nikkimi is everything I hoped for ;;

These two are having a sleepover, cuddling and watching a movie together. 

DAY 3: "Lost" 

Most people drew girls getting lost, and by the time I found out, I was like: "well damn, this is not even close to that prompt" 

But whatever, I'll make up for it with the Fanfics later- 

Nanoha Takamachi x Fate Testarossa (NanoFate) from the Magical Girl Lyrical NANOHA series. 

I went with "No longer lost" instead of "actually lost", which... kinda worked?

It was supposed to be like that one line from PHANTOM MINDS where Fate replies to Nanoha's "Let's go." with "I'm not lost anymore"

Which was really sweet and gay,  so yeah, NanoFate!

DAY 4: "Café" 

Aya Maruyama x Chisato Shirasagi (AyaChisa) from BanG Dream!.

AyaChisa is the otp 💗💛 (alongside YukiKasu, of course-) 

I partly based this drawing off of their Macaron Tower convo in the game.  

It was really cute and silly, and fit the Café prompt perfectly.

DAY 5: "Sharp" 

Blaze Winslow x Luna... Parker (Bluna) from Crime & Regret.

This prompt was tricky. I went from "Sharp knife", "Sharp sword", to finally... something not angsty!

I love Crime & Regret/Bluna with all my heart, so of course I'd include my series during the challenges~

The characters kinda went through a big redesign recently, so their new looks will be what they're MEANT to look like from Chapter 1-onwards. 

DAY 6: "The Moon" 

Aria Dior x Luna Scarlett (AriLuna) from LunARiA. 

Even though I haven't continued to write this series, AriLuna is still sO IMPORTANT AND CLOSE TO MY HEART. I would like to write a reboot sometime soon. 

But other than that, Luna's playing without a care in the world. Not realizing how much she's making her so-called "enemy" feel. 

Seriously, Aria! Your face is bright red! And don't try to hide that handmade plush!

DAY 7: "Disaster" 

Iris x Rosabel (Irisabel) from Cytus: Chapter K.

I haven't drawn Irisabel in legit 2 years, and it gave me both massive nostalgia and crying on the inside. 

This prompt easily fit Madoka/Homura, but I bought DEEMO for Switch a week ago, which REALLY made me think of Chapter K. I ended up playing through the Knight Iris, and Knight Rosabel collections, aND WANTED TO CRY BECAUSE EVEN IN CHIBI FORM, IT STABS ME IN THE HEART.

So yeah, Irisabel was in my mind and wasn't getting out.

I still love Chapter K to death, my love has never changed for it. To the point, where I'm still praying and hoping for an animated movie/book/manga/anime adaptation of it. Even though it'll never happen.

I want to write a fanfic someday. Because I deleted the one from 2 years ago FOR NO REASON, AND I CANNOT REMEMBER IT AT ALL.

But god, I love Irisabel so much uGH 😭

This is based off of the end in The Fallen Bloom, where Iris finishes off Rosabel. 

My personal interpretation is that: The Forbidden Codex has lost control of Rosabel. She's regained consciousness, and in that moment, she quickly tells Iris to kill her.

Iris, knowing that the Codex hasn't fully lost control, finishes Rosabel off.

In her final moments, Rosabel thanks Iris, and wishes that things could have been different.

Iris cradles Rosabel's body in her arms, refusing to accept this tragic fate, but knowing nothing can be done... sobs. Not knowing what else to do.

I'll get into further detail in Fanfic form, whenever I decide to ACTUALLY write this, and publish it on my yet-to-be-made Fanfiction blog.

Crime & Regret - Cendrillon (Bluna Version)

I draw my ocs too much -v-;
Anyway, I've started doing this fun project where I sing as the Crime & Regret characters while doing VOCALOID covers! This was from a Cendrillon cover, where I sang as both Luna and Blaze~
The first cover was a 5-person version of "the last effect" which you can check out here! It features Ettie, Celine, and Robin, and yeah it's a self-chorus \ o w o )
I won't be posting the art from that one on here because I'm personally not very proud of it x'D but I really like how this one turned out so I'm posting it! I took the outfits featured in Project mirai and recolored them to better fit the characters.
I'm well-aware that the song takes place in a castle, but I CAN'T DRAW THAT?? 😂
So I did a starry-night sky because why not? The song takes place at nighttime anyway


 This song is still one of my absolute favorites, it's sO GOOD UGH <3
And if you're wondering: No, I DON'T like KaiMiku. At all. I hate it. Negitoro forever. :D

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha - NanoFate (Nanoha x Fate) Mini Comic

I love NanoFate so much??? Aaaa ❤

I started working on this last night and finished it this evening. I suddenly had the urge to draw NanoFate because I've been listening to Sukidatte Ienakute by Yukari Tamura lately. I hear it and it really makes me think of NanoFate...
Aside from that, it's been mostly MGLN ost, Nana Mizuki, and Yukari Tamura songs. So yeah. Lots of Nanoha inspiration haha

I first discovered this series back in May, and I really do feel so happy with it in my life.
I absolutely love the 1st and 2nd seasons, but I stopped at Strikers because it got really boring and I have 0% interest in any of the new characters. So I skipped to all of the NanoFate family parts because it's tHE SWEETEST OMG
They have such cute and pure moments with their daughter, Vivio and I just-God, I love NanoFate so much 😭
They make me so happy...

They really are my No.1 favorite couple. 💗💛

Back with my C&R art! I have no idea if this exact scene is actually gonna happen, so no, it's not a spoiler.
In the story, Bluna ISN'T canon. ...Yet.
Right now, they're just really good friends. But it's guaranteed to happen. Because I really really love them ahaha

I'm still actively writing CR every day, so I hope to get to moments I've been looking forward to writing for a LONG time now. (Bluna included! But the Iones, and Lilly, especially!! ❤)

also Luna's last name is a spoiler so I cAN'T TAG IT 😂

Eh, I dunno if this counts as a spoiler or not, but this isn't going to happen in the actual series so probably... not? I'm still not sure how I'd write out them having crushes on the Iones?? I just know that I absolutely want to sometime.
So yeah.

I absolutely LOOOOVE Violet and Eon... I feel like they're a few of my faves. Though I really do love (mostly) everyone. Haha.

Anyway, ALONGSIDE LOVING THE IONES, I AM LOOOVING RobEon 🖤💜 and Ciolet 💛💜  Like, a lot. I've had the idea of Ciolet since... October 2017.But RobEon is actually something that popped into my head fairly recently.
I was thinking about "If Robin had a crush on anyone, who would it be? ......Probably Eon." And that's how the idea was born!
Robin thinks Eon is cool, and probably turns into a mess around him. But I think they'd get along super well
Celine thinks Violet is super pretty and cute. An idea I have for the story is... She gives a violet flower to her, and confesses. But that might be too sweet and pure for CR. Aah, but CR needs to back down from angst now and then!! So yeah, Ciolet is pretty much planned. And RobEon would be really great, too!

Lastly:
Celine and Violet identify as lesbians, while Robin and Eon identify as gay. ^^

BanG Dream! - Yukina Minato x Kasumi Toyama doodles (YukiKasu/KasuYuki)

I turned on DAA for the first time since April, and was in a Bandori mood! So... what did I end up drawing?
Well...

My Bandori otp, Yukina x Kasumi aka YukiKasu! I've shipped it since July 2017, but never did too much art for it before. But! I felt like having a new tablet wallpaper, so I got to work~

I really REALLY love this ship. It's not well-known, but I love it! Their interactions are so cute and just warm my heart, for some reason...
Like, Yukina only has Roselia. But...
She goes to the movies with Kasumi... not even knowing what movie Kasumi picked, she still agreed. They went to see Kitty Cat Catastrophe, and Yukina was happy.
She goes to have dinner with Kasumi often. When Yukina couldn't, she doesn't say "no", she responds with "we can go on a different day."
She COMPLIMENTS her often. Examples: "Your voice has a certain kindness to it. That is a true talent.", "I think that's impressive.", "You're a good person, Toyama-san."
They have birthday messages for each other!! Kasumi buys Yukina cat goods, and Yukina wishes her a happy birthday ;;;v;;;
Aside from Poppin'Party, Yukina is the character Kasumi interacts with the most on the hubmenu. Same for Yukina, where Kasumi is the one character she interacts with the most.
Also, when I first got the JP version, and I saw them sitting together at the fast food restaurant... I thought they were dating. x'D
Yukina and Kasumi both like cats!
Also, I have a headcanon that Yukina (secretly) adores Kasumi, and her cat-ear hair.

I mean, Yukina clearly likes Kasumi, or cares about her, if she's open to hanging out this much.
As for Kasumi? She REALLY admires Yukina, getting so excited and emotional over her praise.

Anyway... Now that I'm done rambling on, here are other photos I made because the YukiKasu inspiration was sTRONG:

Yukina is leaning in for a kiss. I've had this idea of writing a (private) Garupa Cafe! AU fanfic with YukiKasu, for a while now, but I have no idea when. This would probably be a scene in it, though.
